What People's Say About Place

The absolute best crab cake you will have in MB! I’m from Maryland and would rate the crake cake 9 out of 10! Crabs weren’t in season so I’ll be back to try them. But they the best Maryland style crab seasoning. Amazing. I’ll be back.

Delicious! The food was a 10/10. I just happened to find this place and I cannot be more happy with my decision to try this locally owned establishment! My visit was on Valentine’s Day and they had a lot of carry out orders, that is a good indication the food is worth it. The owner, who is from Maryland, works the kitchen and understands food should be made with love. Who would have thought my first official Maryland crab cake could be in South Carolina.

Our group of native Marylanders had the steamed hard crabs. They were perfectly seasoned and each crab was very full. If you are from Maryland or just want to try the hard crabs steamed, you need to come to this place. You will feel like you are in an old Baltimore crab house. The food and atmosphere is great. Will definitely be back. Oh, and did I mention the prices? Very reasonable. You won’t find a better deal.

Great place for crabs, I wasn't sure how many crabs we would get so I also ordered shrimp and soup for my wife and I. Way too much food. Everything was delicious, you won't be disappointed. Restaurant was clean, not fancy, lots of televisions and a little bar area too.

Just stopped by their new location at 7th Ave. Super cool design, the owners did a great job on the design they even have a really cool room with a couch you can sit and eat at. I used to go to the old spot on 45th Ave before they relocated . I was worried with the new spot that things would be different. Only thing that’s different is the atmosphere that changed for the better. Most importantly - what is STILL true is that this place has the absolute best Maryland style food (crabs, thrasher fries , crab pretzel and my favorite which is the cream of crab soup. If you’re looking for MD food or just GOOD food which is so hard to find around here , this is your spot. Highly recommend

We were blown away by the quality of the Maryland crabs served. Being from Maryland, we know when the crabs are from the Chesapeake Bay or other areas like Texas or Louisiana. Absolutely delicious! We'll definitely be back for the crabs and maybe a Ravens game. Great job!

I stopped in for a nice simple meal and got an amazing experience out of it! I ordered the traditional club sandwich and stacked it! My girlfriend got a dozen of fresh Maryland blue crab and she truly enjoyed herself! The customer service was a 10/10 and we will be recommending and visiting again!

We were looking for a new and light dinner and noticed the 45th Ave Deli write-up so decided to stop in. First hour's are from 11:00am till 6:00pm so it's not a late night sandwich place. First plenty of parking so not an issue. Entered and we're pleased that the place was bright and clean with a nice overhead menu. We had not had Lox, Bagels and Cream cheese in a while so Bill and I both ordered ($12.99) as well as the daily soup special Crab soup $5.99. Soup came out hot and we both enjoyed so 5 ⭐. Next came our Bagels etc...we loved them 5 ⭐ with the only comment being they might consider offering different favors of the Bagels like Onion, Multi, Sesame, Poppyseed etc and look at a slightly toaster Bagel. Both were so large and good that we took half of mine and 1/4 of Bills home. We noted that "Maryland Crab Cakes" were advertised and while full asked if we could just order one(1) and try it for lunch at our place the next day, Ashley the owner was more than accommodating and packaged one along with Tarter Sauce (by the way had it for lunch and yes it was 5 ⭐). Simply this nice simple location off 17 that should have more of a following as the location is good, people are fantastic and the food is well worth the price.
